'Surpassing Limits' Song Kang Challenges to Reclaim Soloist Position in 'Four Hands, Two Sonatas' with Lee Jun-young
In the upcoming 11th episode of the tvN weekend drama 'Four Hands, Two Sonatas', pianist Kang Bi-o (played by Song Kang) attempts to win back the trust of Choi Jeong-yo (played by Lee Jun-young) through a performance.
[News & Book = Song Yeong-du reporter] In the tvN weekend drama 'Four Hands, Two Sonatas', Song Kang makes a decisive move to reclaim the soloist position for the piano concerto 'Nemesis'.
In the 11th episode of the tvN weekend drama 'Four Hands, Two Sonatas' to be broadcast on the 3rd, pianist Kang Bi-o (Song Kang) will perform with the aim of changing the mind of Choi Jeong-yo (Lee Jun-young), who had dismissed him, using his strengthened performance as a weapon.
Previously, Kang Bi-o was selected as the soloist for the piano concerto 'Nemesis', which Choi Jeong-yo completed over five years, but he was stripped of his soloist qualification because he failed to properly realize the emotions and imagery contained in the piece. To Kang Bi-o, who had fallen into deep frustration, his grandfather and world-renowned conductor Kang Seung-un (Jung Jin-young) gave him advice to break away from formulaic playing and express his emotions as they are.
In the still cuts released ahead of the broadcast, Choi Jeong-yo, who had been worrying due to the absence of a soloist, is shown opening the practice room door to check Kang Bi-o's performance. While a strong sense of conviction lingers in Choi Jeong-yo's eyes, Kang Seung-un and Yoon Seon-ju (Seo Jae-hee), the chairperson of the Korean Symphony who were present at the scene, also show reactions of being unable to hide their astonishment at Kang Bi-o's performance.
Just as Choi Jeong-yo once gained the opportunity to transfer to the Korea High School of Arts through a single melody, expectations are gathering as to whether Kang Bi-o will be able to change Choi Jeong-yo's mind and stand again as the soloist for 'Nemesis'.
The 11th episode of the tvN weekend drama 'Four Hands, Two Sonatas' will be broadcast on the 3rd at 9:30 PM.
