Young Tak Proves His Versatility from Albums and Concerts to Variety Shows

Singer Young Tak is showing vigorous activity as an entertainer following his musical activities.

With the release of his 3rd regular album 'GOGO' and the 2026 Young Tak solo concert 'TAK SHOW5' (hereafter 'TAK SHOW5') approaching on the 14th, he is continuing his path as an 'all-around entertainer' by revealing his presence through various programs, ranging from fixed variety shows to observational variety shows.

Having joined tvN 'Naked World History' as a new fixed member since February 23, he has showcased a fresh and intellectual charm that was not seen in his previous musical or variety activities by actively asking questions, challenging quizzes, and showing immersive reactions in line with the nature of the program which deals with historical events. Based on his acting skills as a former actor, he is also performing vigorously, showing extraordinary method acting in situational dramas that reenact historical figures and events.

Young Tak further expanded his variety show activities by appearing in SBS 'Our Neighborhood Golden Age', which aired its first episode on August 8. Joining the neighborhood revival project program where he visits various regions along with Lee Kyung-kyu, DinDin, and Lee Won-il to restore their golden ages, he is adding vitality to the program with his characteristic friendliness and energetic spirit. Beyond simple appearances, he also revealed talents outside of music by demonstrating his producing capabilities.

Recently appearing on KBS 2TV 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant', he drew viewers' attention by revealing the professional side of a music producer as he shared the process of officially recording 'Hard Tteokbokki', a song made with actor Ji Seung-hyun. In the KBS 2TV 'The Return of Superman' broadcast on the 2nd, he provided delightful 'uncle moments' while spending special time with Eun Woo and Jung Woo, the two sons of Kim Jun-ho. Additionally, he expressed the charm of 'human Park Young Tak' by revealing his ideal type and child-rearing plans.

While his variety activities are becoming active, he is also facing major steps as a singer. Ahead of the release of his 3rd regular album 'GOGO' on the 14th, Young Tak is boosting the comeback atmosphere by releasing unique teasing content. Having participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of 11 out of the 12 songs included in the album, he is raising expectations for his musical capabilities as a 'hit maker'. Attention is focused on whether a new signature song for Young Tak will be born, following 'Why Are You Coming Out From There', 'Do You Want to Eat Abalone', and 'Form is Crazy'.

Following the album release, Young Tak is scheduled to meet fans nationwide by holding the solo concert 'TAK SHOW5'. 'TAK SHOW5', which will be held for three days from October 3 to 5 at the Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul, will continue in Jeonju on October 24–25, Daegu on November 28–29, Incheon on December 19–20, and Busan on January 16–17 of next year. This season is heightening expectations as it is planned to reveal stages for the new songs contained in Young Tak's 3rd regular album 'GOGO'.
