[News & Book = Reporter Song Young-du] The MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'A Bona Fide Killer' has concluded its run, breaking its own highest viewership ratings amid positive acclaim from viewers.
According to Nielsen Korea's tally on the 13th, the final episode of 'A Bona Fide Killer' broadcast the previous day recorded a viewership rating of 10.7% for households nationwide and 10.4% for households in the Seoul metropolitan area, ranking first across all channels in the same time slot. The scene where Tae-Sung Kwon looks back on his memories with Yu Bo-na at the mountain cabin reached a peak viewership rating of 12.5%, and the 2054 viewership also ranked first among all broadcasts that day at 3.2%.
In the final episode, a dramatic development unfolded as Yu Bo-na collapsed after taking a gunshot from Layla in place of her husband, Tae-Sung Kwon. Layla was killed by the special forces, and Yu Bo-na, whose identity was revealed, left Tae-Sung Kwon, but the false accusations regarding Kingfisher were cleared through Tae-Sung Kwon's investigative reporting. After six months had passed, the two reunited at the mountain cabin and confirmed their feelings for each other.
As the case concluded with police officer Lee Dong-jin turning a blind eye to Yu Bo-na's identity, the long journey came to an end with a finale where Yu Bo-na, having returned to her daily life, hears news of a new case and reveals her killer instincts once again.
